I've never seen a baby that loves to bath like Addy, which is good since she baths twice a day! I have to let the water out now so she has nothing to play in or she won't get out....believe me she throws a fit even if I let her bring 2 toys with us to the changing table.

Addy's 9 Month B-day w/ an Ear Infection :(

When I got home I took a few pictures of Addy with her cotton in her ouchy ears...she leaves them in for about 2 minutes and then I think she realizes that she can't hear very well :)

9 Months Old Today

Can you believe Addy is 9 months old today!?
Well, it had to happen some time I guess, Addy got her first ear infection on Sunday! And let me tell you that it was the longest night of my life! I felt so bad she just kept crying and crying and wouldn't stop....which isn't like her at all. Of course Dutch had no idea anything was going on until I went in and told him I was taking her for a drive at 2 am....that was the only thing that made her stop crying. I just kept thinking it was her teeth and never even thought about her ears. So after driving around in a delirious state with Addy is back crying and me in my PJ's with no makeup crying, I was just waiting to get pulled over! There is seriously not a soul in Rexburg Idaho at 2 am....or 3 am...we drove around for a while. I finally got Addy to go to sleep and carefully carried her up stairs and put her in her crib...she looked like a little angel laying there. I felt like the worst mom ever....especially when I took her to the Dr Monday and found out she had an infection! She is much better today after amoxicilin and ear drops...she is in good hands at Aunt Mary's.

Big Girl

So Addy did the funniest thing last night....she was playing on the kitchen floor and scooted on her bum over to a drawer. I had been bouncing balls to her and she went over to get it but she couldn't help but notice the handle that looked oh so fun to pull on. I ran outside to flip the steaks on the grill and find little Addy bugs unloading the tupperware out of the drawer with the biggest smile on her face!! I started laughing so hard so she started laughing. It was the cutest. So I scoot her back so she won't shut her fingers in there and she threw the biggest fit! I died, she isnt' supposed to do that yet! So after I reasoned with her and let her play with the tupperware she was much better. I can't believe she is so big already....it's so fun to watch her grow and become her own little person. She has her own little personality and doesn't care if she gives you a dirty look if she wants....oh I can't wait until she is a teenager!! AHAHAHAH

Just an update

I never just write about what's going on so I thought I'd update everyone. We are all so ready for summer that we keep going out on walks but end up coming back because it's too cold. Dutch is ready to start farming....not sure why! :) I'm so not looking forward to that already! He is my little helper in the morning to get Addy bugs ready, I'll have to get up by 6:00 for sure now! Addy is almost 9 months!! I can't even believe it. She is so much fun and has developed a little attitude this month....that's the Pocock in her! Just kidding. She is a super good eater but when she is done, she is done now! :) Make me laugh. This week she had discovered that her finger fits in her nose.....and somehow she connected it to her mouth! So, as hard as it is to not laugh I tell her its yucky and she just laughs....so sweet tho'. She isn't crawling yet but she gets on her hands and knees and rocks but can't quite figure out what to do from there. Still no sleep through the night! :( Yes, she gets up atleast once sometimes as many as 5 times....depends on her nap schedule that day. She is getting better but some days its rough. I really don't mind getting up and changing bum and feeding her it's when she wants to play and I'm thinkin, Really? I have to get up in like 2 hours! :) But it's so much fun to see her happy little face...she's the best baby ever! As for me, just the same ol', cleaning, cooking (ok sometimes), and playing with Addy bugs. Being mom, wife and working is quite the job!! I love that I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday to be with my family tho'. Well, that's all for now...
